What the service is

Santa Rosa Mold Pros is a referral service. It passes requests from people in Santa Rosa, California and Sonoma County to independent mold inspection and remediation companies. Santa Rosa Mold Pros is not a contractor, does not perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and holds no contractor license.

Free, no obligation

Requesting quotes is free. You are not obligated to hire any company. Any agreement for work is between you and the company you choose.

How the service is paid

Santa Rosa Mold Pros may be paid by participating companies, on a flat per-request basis, for receiving requests. That payment does not change your price with the company, and it does not mean the site endorses any company.

The companies are independent

Companies are separate businesses responsible for their own work, prices, insurance and conduct. Santa Rosa Mold Pros does not check licenses or insurance. Before you hire anyone:

• Get the CSLB license number and check it on the CSLB license lookup. A license is required for jobs of $1,000 or more, jobs needing a permit and jobs with employees.
• Get a written contract with the scope and price.
• Generally, the down payment should be no more than $1,000 or 10 percent of the price, whichever is less.
• Know your right to cancel: generally three business days for a home improvement contract signed at home, five for seniors 65 and older, and seven days for repairs after a declared disaster.
